Jack Fargo Spends “Saturday in the Palisades”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A feel-good pop tune that makes a serious splash.

Memphis-born Jack Fargo (aka Jack Fargotstein) is a multi-talented musician with a deep-rooted passion for music. He first learned to play guitar in seventh grade, crafting parody songs inspired by “Weird Al” Yankovic before transitioning to original material. In high school, Fargo immersed himself in hip-hop culture, releasing mixtapes and collaborating with local producers.

After the breakup of his music duo, The Motel Brothers, in 2019, Fargo shifted to a solo career. His diverse influences range from Ed Sheeran’s pop-rock vibrance to the iconic sounds of Mac Miller and classic soul and R&B. Fargo’s latest release is the pop single “Saturday in the Palisades.”

With its breezy instrumentals and the calming sound of water, “Saturday in the Palisades” sets a sun-drenched, summery mood. Jack Fargo pairs this atmosphere with lyrics that celebrate carefree moments of love, like sipping lemonade by the pool and enjoying the simple pleasures of life with someone special. Lines like “They say the best things in life are free, Baby, we got it all if it’s you and me” perfectly capture the relaxed, feel-good vibes. The track’s upbeat and radiant sound delivers a refreshing, feel-good pop experience—an ideal soundtrack for a laid-back summer day.
