Adele Gives an Emotional Final Performance

In her words, “I don’t have any f***ing plans!”

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about Adele on this site. I covered her surprise with Celine Dion and her initial retirement announcement. Now, her final “Weekends with Adele” show at her Caesars Palace Vegas residency has taken place, and it was an emotional performance.

Nobody really knows what Adele plans to do after her residency ends—not even Adele herself. “I’m not doing anything else, I’m actually s***ing myself about what I am going to do. I don’t have any f***ing plans,” she jokes.

Despite her uncertainty, Adele expressed heartfelt gratitude for the experience. “It’s been wonderful, and I will miss it terribly, and I will miss you terribly,” she told the crowd, her voice trembling with emotion. Turning to her family, she reflected, “To my son, I chose to do a residency maybe because I f***ing hate touring,” she admitted, her voice breaking. “I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal. And I did do that. I wouldn’t change it for the world, but now I get to be with him on the weekends because, obviously, he can’t always come.” She also shared a heartfelt moment with her partner, Rich Paul, thanking him for “always picking me up and making me feel like I could do whatever I want to do.”

God bless Adele.
