These are my top 5 fantasy picks for 12/10/2024.
1. Moritz Wagner (O 12 Pts & Ast) at Milwaukee Bucks

Pros: The popular sentiment nowadays is that the NBA regular season has become unwatchable. Whether you agree or not, I can honestly say I would rather watch paint dry than this Bucks vs. Magic Cup game now that Franz Wagner isn’t playing. That said, in a game where the Magic could be down by 20 in the second quarter, keep an eye on Mosley’s strategy to play his passionate, go-to guy for heavy minutes: Mo Wagner. I love his chances to score more than 12 points today alone (I can also see him being a playmaker).
Cons: Mo and Giannis have a bit of a rivalry. Giannis might go hard at Mo if both are on the court, possibly aiming to put him in foul trouble.
2. Giannis Antetokoiunmpo (O 5 Ast) vs. Orlando Magic

Pros: Giannis famously coined the phrase, “Don’t play with your food,” and I don’t expect him to stray from that mindset against the Orlando Magic today. Whether the game becomes a blowout or stays unexpectedly competitive, I anticipate Giannis shifting gears and showcasing his versatility. Instead of purely scoring dominance, he might take on the role of a facilitator, leveraging his playmaking skills to elevate his teammates and keep the Magic on their heels.
Cons: With Khris Middleton back, it seems the team has relied on him more as a facilitator. Keep an eye on how this dynamic might take some of the spotlight away from Giannis.
3. Taurean Prince (O 4.5 Pts) vs. Orlando Magic

Pros: Lakers fans, cover your ears: Taurean Prince currently leads the NBA in three-point shooting percentage. Bucks fans, you might want to tune out as well: In his last two games, Taurean Prince has combined for 0 points. It’s hard to imagine both he and Coach Doc Rivers aren’t feeling the weight of this slump, so I expect Prince to bounce back and put up at least 5 points—potentially even by the end of the first quarter.
Cons: I can’t believe my dumb-ass is betting on a dude who scored 0 two games in a row. Hey, sometimes you gotta put it on green in roulette.
4. Tristan Da Silva (O 3.5 Rebs) at Milwaukee Bucks

Pros: Tristan Da Silva… Who? Tristan Da Silva…Who? MIKE JONES!!!!! Rookie Tristan Da Silva might not be known in NBA circles, but I loved him at Colorado as a scorer. Interestingly, he has a similar frame to Franz Wagner, and I think he has a good motor. I expect him to play heavy minutes tonight, even if Magic end up down by 30.
Cons: Who? Mike Jones!
Other Plays I Like:
I like absolutely nothing else tonight
