50 Cent was just as confused as the rest of us.
Andrew Schulz’s rise to stardom often flies under the radar. From being a relatively struggling comedian to selling out major arenas, his journey is nothing short of impressive. The main reason for his success? He’s undeniably funny (duh). Another reason is his ability to identify and connect with his niche audience.
Recently, Andrew’s growing prominence caught up with him in an unexpected way. In GNX, Kendrick Lamar called him out over his controversial comments about Black women. Andrew’s response stirred significant backlash, including from 50 Cent himself.
During a guest appearance on Schulz’s podcast, 50 Cent didn’t hold back and confronted him about his remarks regarding Kendrick Lamar. He essentially questioned where the comment came from and reflected on how watching Jamie Foxx’s new comedy special reminded him of the emotional rollercoaster standup comedians can take you on.

I want to clarify that I didn’t take Andrew Schulz’s comments about wanting to f**k Kendrick Lamar literally. I think it was his weird way of trying to make a point about being able to overpower him because of his size. Would I have made those comments as a comedian? Absolutely not. But the key word here is comedian—they’re known for saying wild, out-of-bounds stuff.
What I do appreciate is that 50 Cent didn’t hold back and asked the question everyone was thinking: “Why would you say some s**t like that?”
