I still remember the days when we were getting wild tweets from both President Donald Trump and Kanye West simultaneously. It was chaotic, to say the least, and not long after, both found themselves banned from their accounts for the controversial things they were posting. Fast forward to now, Donald Trump has already made his silent but triumphant return to Twitter, and it seems Kanye is back too.
Today, someone spotted that Kanye West’s Twitter/X account has been reactivated. While he hasn’t posted anything yet, the account is visible and open to the public again. For context, his last tweet was about Vultures 2 back in March.

Honestly, this shouldn’t even be news, but here’s why it’s worth paying attention to: On Twitter/X, Kanye has a history of saying some wildly out-of-pocket things, airing dirty laundry, and, most importantly, teasing new projects. My hope is that his return signals something exciting—maybe, just maybe, we’re on the verge of a new solo album from him. Fingers crossed.
