Adele Makes Spotify History as the First Female Artist with Three Solo Songs Surpassing 2 Billion Streams 

Adele’s starting the year off breaking Spotify records.

Adele has made Spotify history, becoming the first female artist to achieve over 2 billion streams on three solo tracks: “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” and “Easy on Me.”


It’s no surprise that these singles were streamed over 2 billion times.

“Rolling in the Deep,” from Adele’s critically acclaimed album 21, debuted on January 17, 2011, marking her first single to top the Billboard Hot 100, reigning for an impressive seven consecutive weeks.

“Someone Like You,” also from 21, arrived on January 24, 2011, and quickly became a fan favorite, celebrated for its raw emotion and relatable lyrics.

Over a decade later, “Easy on Me,” the lead single from her fourth studio album 30, was released on October 15, 2021. This emotional ballad spent an incredible 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
