Cam’ron Responds to Jim Jones’ Criticism on “It Is What It Is”

The beef between the two Dipset members has gotten ugly.

Cam’ron and Jim Jones’ feud has officially escalated. On today’s episode of It Is What It Is, Cam’ron referred to him as a “fan,” accused him of backstabbing, and highlighted moments where Jimmy apologized to rappers like French Montana, Maino, and Tru Life—artists who had previously dissed him.

So, why did this beef reignite? It traces back to Cam’ron’s recent sit-down with 50 Cent on his show It Is What It Is, where they revisited their past beef. Cam’ron revealed that his relationship with Jim soured irreparably after seeing him on stage with 50 despite their internal issues. Jim later responded, claiming he always supported Cam and had done a lot for him, Mase, and even 50.

As a lifelong fan of The Diplomats, it’s tough to watch Jim Jones and Cam’ron’s feud unfold. Sadly, it’s not entirely surprising. Over the years, we’ve seen tension bubble between Cam’ron, Jim, and Juelz Santana—albums delayed, shots fired, and lingering bad blood. While fans can hold out hope for reconciliation, this goes far beyond petty jabs; it’s rooted in issues of loyalty, betrayal, and deeper wounds that have festered over time.

Who’s side are you on in this beef: Cam’ron or Jim Jones?
