You really can’t tell Kanye West nothing now!
Yesterday, Kanye West (aka Ye) announced on social media that his net worth has reached $2.77 billion, joining Jay-Z as one of the few rappers in the billion-dollar club. (If you include Diddy, that makes three.)
In an Instagram post captioned “LAA LA LA LA,” Ye shared a note from ETON Venture Services confirming his $2.77 billion net worth. The note highlights his extensive music portfolio and sole ownership of the Yeezy brand as key contributors to his financial success.

Does Kanye West have his ill-advised moments? Absolutely. However, he’s the embodiment of the American Dream. From the ground up, Kanye built his brand, as showcased in his documentary Jeen-Yuhs, and continued elevating it through bold moves in music, fashion, and other ventures. If there’s one lesson to take from his journey, it’s this: take risks and stand unapologetically by what you believe in.
That said, am I the only one who thinks $2.77 billion feels a little low for Kanye?
