Mac Miller’s posthumous album BALLONERISM made waves, debuting with an impressive 81,000 units sold in its first week. This strong showing earned it the #3 spot on the Billboard 200, trailing behind SZA’s Lana and Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
On the Billboard Hot 100, BALLONERISM saw four tracks charting: “Funny Papers” (#78), “5 Dollar Pony Rides” (#84), “DJ’s Chord Organ” (#94), and “Stoned” (#97). In our top 5 list, we had “Do You Have A Destination” as the top track.

He transitioned from a rapper focused on delivering hard-hitting bars to a visionary who masterfully infused jazz and R&B into his work. Was he ahead of his time? Without a doubt.
