J. Cole is bringing back the art of blogging.
On January 27th, J. Cole introduced fans to his new blog, “The Algorithm,” through the Inevitable website. In his first post, he shared that he had wanted to create a space like this for years. He also reflected on AHMAD’s hit song “Back in the Day” and mentioned his milestone 40th birthday, happening the following day.
Cole wrote, “Happy new year to y’all and God bless. 2025 will be a good one.” This message, combined with the launch of the blog, led many fans to speculate that a new album—possibly The Fall Off—was on the horizon. Social media buzzed with theories about a 2025 release.

“Some people was thinking this blog meant an album was about to drop. Nahhh. Not exactly. When it’s time for something, you will know.”
While Cole made it clear that no album is dropping immediately, he didn’t rule out the possibility entirely. He wrapped up the post by thanking fans for their birthday wishes and giving a shoutout to Mr. Vegas’ song “I Am Blessed.”
Though no official announcement has been made, fans remain hopeful that J. Cole’s 40th year will bring some exciting surprises.
