JRoberts, T.F & Ol Man 80zz Deliver a Sinister Showcase of Bars in “Sun Goes Down”

Is it Halloween yet?

The only thing that gets my heart racing more than a cold-blooded hip-hop banger is one that pairs hard-hitting production with elite-level rapping. That’s exactly what Toronto’s JRoberts brings to the table—consistently. For the past few years, he’s approached tracks like sparring sessions, delivering lyrical body blows over all sorts of timeless beats that wouldn’t feel out of place on a Griselda tape.

His latest release, “Sun Goes Down,” featuring T.F and Ol Man 80zz, is another icy entry in his catalog. The track is powered by a slasher movie-style instrumental—dusty drums, eerie melodies, and a tempo that creeps forward like a villain in the shadows.

JRoberts delivers a calculated, menacing verse with a dynamic flow that rises and crashes like waves. His bars are surgical, centered around out-rapping the competition and making every lyrical shot count. T.F keeps the momentum going with a standout verse about loyalty, street codes, and more precision as a shooter than Kon Knueppel.

All in all, “Sun Goes Down” is dark, unrelenting, and packed with rewind-worthy punchlines. If you’re a fan of horror aesthetics and top-tier lyricism, this one is essential listening.
