TOP 5
5. Golden Burning Sun
“Golden Burning Song” is a song about yearning. Miley Cyrus is in love and wants to continue falling for the person she’s singing about and build a future with them. She promises they are the only one she has eyes for, and she vocalizes her dedication and commitment to the relationship throughout the track. She swears never to let them down and asks them to surrender to the happy life they can build together.
4. Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved
This track is giving all the flirty ’80s vibes, and I’m living for it. “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved” is about someone Miley’s been seeing who hasn’t wanted to take things to the next level—yet. Miley wants more from the relationship, and she’s wondering why there’s been no progress, especially since she knows she’s everything this person has ever looked for in a woman—and more. Featuring Naomi Scott, this song will definitely get you on your feet.
3. End of The World
A lot of artists sing about what they’d do if the world were ending, but Miley Cyrus takes a different approach. Instead of lamenting missed opportunities or scrambling to check off a bucket list, she chooses to focus on the present—continuing on with her partner as if they have forever. While she still wants to live it up like tomorrow isn’t promised, she also wants to be loved like tomorrow is. In essence, she wants a love that lasts—today, tomorrow, and always.
2. Easy Lover
“Easy Lover” is about staying committed to someone for the long haul, baggage and all. Miley sings about a partner who can be hurtful at times, makes mistakes, and easily gets under her skin. Still, she misses them when they’re gone and loves them deeply—even if that love isn’t always easy or simple. The track is sweet, catchy, and incredibly relatable, making it a strong contender for a standout single.
1. Pretend You’re God
“Pretend You’re God” is a stunning, heartfelt breakup song about losing someone who once meant everything to you. The longing runs so deep that they begin to appear in your dreams, making the thought of waking up without them almost unbearable. The track feels deeply bittersweet, blurring the lines between dreams and reality. It’s a beautiful mix of hurt and hope, capturing the emotional tug-of-war that follows a meaningful loss.

I’ve been following Miley Cyrus since the Hannah Montana days, and I’ve really admired the evolution of her music over the years. Every album of hers is very different to the next, bending genres and showing a side of the artist we haven’t really seen before. This album is no different.
“Something Beautiful” is said to be inspired by Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” and it shows. This album strays away from pop a little bit and dives deeper into rock/indie/alt territory. It feels old school, hypnotic and psychedelic, and in my opinion, it may be the most Miley album yet.
The track list is all about romance. Miley was feeling the love with this album big time, and it shows. With tracks about sexuality, growth, and struggle, “Something Beautiful” really allows you to explore the ups and downs of a relationship. The album captures the image of modern romance perfectly, and I think it’s something many people will be able to find comfort in.
