“Folded” is a bittersweet ode to love that still lingers.

Kehlani just dropped her new single, “Folded,” and it’s the kind of track that lingers long after it ends. This isn’t a full-on breakup anthem—it’s softer, more complicated. It’s about that in-between space where love still exists, even after someone’s hurt you.

Lines like “Meet me at the door, but it’s still open” and “Come pick up your clothes, I have them folded” capture that aching contradiction. There’s closure in her voice, but also a quiet hope that maybe it’s not really the end. It’s about knowing someone did you wrong but still caring deeply—still leaving the door cracked, just in case.

The song floats with soulful production and Kehlani’s signature, emotion-soaked vocals. It’s flowy, vulnerable, and beautifully restrained. “Folded” doesn’t beg or break down—it just feels, deeply and honestly. It’s probably the most moving thing she’s released in a while, and it’s one I’ll definitely fold for this one.
