I feel like we’re numb to all of Drake’s accomplishments.
Drake remains at the top of the rap game—at least when it comes to the numbers. According to the latest Spotify data, the Canadian superstar was the most-streamed rapper in July, earning a jaw-dropping 1.54 billion streams across all platforms. That figure marks his fifth consecutive month holding the title, which should tell you that he is unkillable.
From timeless classics to fresh feature spots, Drake’s catalog continues to dominate global playlists. His ability to seamlessly shift between rap, R&B, dancehall, and pop-trap keeps him relevant across a wide range of audiences. His recent world tour has only amplified the momentum, pushing his music back into heavy rotation and reminding fans everywhere of his staying power.

What’s most impressive is the consistency. While many artists see their streaming numbers spike during new releases, Drake has managed to stay at the top even during quieter months without major solo drops. That kind of dominance speaks to the depth of his catalog and the loyalty of his fanbase.
The momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon, either. With a new project titled ICEMAN reportedly on the way, Drake is poised to widen the gap between himself and his peers. If the music connects like many expect it to, he might not just hold his lead—he could lap the competition entirely.
At this point, if the year ended today, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Drake is leading the race for Artist of the Year. And if ICEMAN lives up to the hype, that title might be locked in before Q4 even starts.
