Earl Sweatshirt to Release ‘LIVE LAUGH LOVE’ Album on August 22nd

Earl Sweatshirt is officially returning on August 22nd with his new album ‘LIVE LAUGH LOVE.’

Mark your calendars: Earl Sweatshirt’s new album LIVE LAUGH LOVE officially arrives on August 22nd. The surprise reveal came during a private listening event over the weekend, where fans spotted merch displaying what appeared to be a complete 11-song tracklist. That small leak was enough to set social media ablaze, immediately turning the project into one of the most anticipated drops of the year.

The confirmed tracklist reads:

  1. gsw vs. sac
  2. FORGE
  3. INFATUATION
  4. Gamma (need the <3))
  5. WELL DONE!
  6. Live
  7. Static
  8. CRISCO
  9. TOURMALINE
  10. Heavy Metal aka ejecto seatol
  11. exhaust to this

Alongside the track titles, attendees at the listening session received exclusive booklets revealing a heavyweight lineup of contributors. Donald Glover, Vince Staples, Dave Chappelle, The Alchemist, Bktherula, and Navy Blue are all tied to the album in some capacity. For an artist who has always pushed boundaries, Earl’s choice of collaborators only reinforces the idea that this project is going to break molds and expand the definition of hip-hop.

Fans are particularly excited about Earl’s creative reunion with The Alchemist, following the pair’s critically acclaimed VOIR DIRE in 2023. That album became a benchmark for abstract, left-field rap, and LIVE LAUGH LOVE looks set to push things even further. Add in cultural voices like Dave Chappelle and experimental production across the board, and this feels less like an album and more like a cultural event.

With LIVE LAUGH LOVE dropping August 22nd, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Combining experimental beats, bold collaborations, and Earl’s sharp, unpredictable lyricism, this project might just be the pivot that cements Earl Sweatshirt as one of the most inventive rappers of his generation.
