Latto & Ice Spice Unite on Explosive New Single “Gyatt”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

What once was a rap rivalry has now turned into an unexpected collaboration.

Rap beefs come and go, but sometimes they give way to moments fans never see coming. Case in point: Latto and Ice Spice, two of the hottest female rappers in the game, who have officially squashed their feud with the release of their new single, “Gyatt.”

The tension between the two stemmed from subliminal shots traded on tracks like Offset and Latto’s “Fine As Can Be” and Ice Spice’s viral “Think U The Shit (Fart).” While the root of their issues was never entirely clear, their latest collaboration puts that behind them.

On “Gyatt,” the production hits hard, anchored by a booming, almost abrasive beat that feels designed to rattle trunks and shake speakers. Latto delivers with her signature playful swagger, rapping about her body, her man who buys her sticks and stones (cough, cough 21 Savage), and the way she commands attention everywhere she goes. Ice Spice, on the other hand, brings one of her sharpest verses to date, weaving clever lines, chill vibes, and a damn-good flow throughout the track.

The end result is a chaotic but entertaining anthem that captures the personalities of both stars. I would call the track a success.
