Ice Spice Kicks Off a New Era with “Baddie Baddie”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Ice Spice is the Tom Brady of complimenting herself.

Ice Spice has been through a lot of transformations lately—switching up her look, going public with Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, and even squashing her feud with Latto. She feels like a new artist entirely, and her latest single, “Baddie Baddie,” signals the start of a significant next chapter in her career.

“Baddie Baddie” leans on a bass-heavy, thumping instrumental with an Arabian-inspired twist that keeps things interesting. Ice Spice delivers her signature deadpan, effortlessly cool New York flow, rapping about brushing off men, chasing money, and looking badder than the economy.

At the end of the day, “Baddie Baddie” is unapologetically Ice Spice—playful, bold, and self-assured. While it’s a solid track for her core fans, it might not fully click with casual listeners.
