De La Soul Announce New Album “Cabin in the Sky” Dropping November 2025

This would be De La Soul’s first album since 2016.

Hip-hop legends De La Soul are officially back with a brand-new album titled Cabin in the Sky, set to arrive November 2025. The news marks an exciting return for one of rap’s most beloved groups — pioneers whose influence continues to echo through modern hip-hop.

Over the past few years, De La Soul has been in the process of reclaiming and reintroducing their legacy. They’ve re-released updated versions of classic albums like 3 Feet High and Rising, Buhloone Mindstate, and The Grind Date, giving longtime fans and new listeners a chance to revisit the group’s groundbreaking catalog in modern quality.

Their last major album, and the Anonymous Nobody…, dropped in 2016 and featured an eclectic range of collaborators — from 2 Chainz and Usher to Snoop Dogg and David Byrne. Now, with Cabin in the Sky, anticipation is high for what the group will bring next.

As one of hip-hop’s most creative and enduring acts, De La Soul’s upcoming project feels like both a celebration and continuation of their legacy.
