Offset proves he’s far from done after “KIARI,” balancing relentless trap flows with moments of melodic introspection on “HAUNTED BY FAME.”

5. N.A.M.E (Ft. NoCap)
Why is NoCap on this track? This is one of those joints you do solo dolo, Offset.
Offset and NoCap pour their hearts out on “N.A.M.E,” delivering raw, emotional verses over a moody, alternative hip-hop beat. Their voices carry a subtle whine that actually works, adding vulnerability to the grit in their flows. The track hits hard for both hustlers in the trenches and dreamers reflecting on their journeys. The standout moments come when they dive into their rough upbringings and resilience, though the flexing about women and envy feels out of place. Even so, “N.A.M.E” is definitely an interesting listen.
4. I HEARD (Ft. YoungBoy Never Broke Again)
NBA YoungBoy and Offset have been killing s**t together lately.
Offset steps into NBA YoungBoy’s world on “I HEARD,” rapping over one of those signature bouncy Louisiana-style beats that YoungBoy always thrives on. YoungBoy kicks things off with a laid-back hook and one of his trademark fiery, almost unhinged verses, setting the tone. But the real surprise comes when Offset jumps in — he sounds completely at home, gliding over the instrumental with effortless precision. The chemistry between the two is undeniable, and Offset’s adaptability steals the spotlight. He rode this one perfectly.
3. NO REGRETS
Offset told Drake to hold his beer.
Offset taps into his Drake bag on “NO REGRETS,” delivering a fast-paced, melodic rap flow that feels straight out of the “blocked-by-her-man” Drizzy playbook. The good news? Offset’s style glides effortlessly over the gentle, snap-driven production. Lyrically, the track is pure drama — he calls out his ex, claiming her new shine only exists because she was once with him, and makes it clear he’s too busy with his new flame to care how she feels. Cardi, you’re on the clock; you have four years to respond (Y’all know Cardi takes her time making albums).
2. HEADHUNTER
This will likely be the most overlooked track from this album.
“HEADHUNTER” comes with a hard-hitting, sinister beat that’ll put your speakers in a Draymond-level headlock the moment it drops. Offset steps up with extra bass in his voice and a relentless flow, flexing about the bags he’s securing overseas, the fakeness of the industry, and the women constantly orbiting his world. It’s Offset sticking his chest out harder than Janet.
1. HAUNTED BY FAME
While Offset is haunted by fame, I’m haunted by those damn spider crickets in my basement.
I love it when Offset gets vulnerable on a track, and in “HAUNTED BY FAME,” he kind of does that. While his rap delivery sounds emotional as hell and the production he floats over has an extra chill trap vibe, most of his lyrics revolve around spoiling a woman. (He does mention losing Cardi B because he moved too fast in life — but if you blink, you might miss that part.) Whatever the case may be, I love the chorus he lays down and f**k with how emotionally charged this track feels.

So, it looks like Offset still had more to say after KIARI. On this eleven-track project, he continues to talk about his money, upbringing, and the women in his life now that he’s single and ready to mingle.
The production on HAUNTED BY FAME is impressively diverse. While many tracks feature the signature hard-hitting Migos trap beats, you also get NBA YoungBoy-style bouncy New Orleans rhythms, chill grooves, alternative hip-hop vibes, and more. Offset adapts seamlessly to whatever beat he’s given. At times, he sounds like his relentless old self, delivering lyrical haymakers, and at other moments, he dives into a melodic bag, channeling a dark-skinned Drake. His versatility is on full display, and it makes the album an engaging listen.
Lyrically, you get the classic Offset flexes—money, women, and calling out competition. But on a few tracks, he opens up about personal struggles, though he quickly pivots back to bragging. Considering the album’s title, HAUNTED BY FAME, it would have been nice to hear him explore that theme more vulnerably instead of skipping back to the usual flexing.
Overall, this project doesn’t fully feel like a complete album—it’s more like a rich, hefty dessert served after a main course. Fun and satisfying, but leaving you wanting a little more substance.

You messed up with Cardi and kids now you crying and broke. She gave you chances keep her name out your mouth. She left and we’re glad. You didn’t deserve her.
This kind of sounded like some bars… do you rap? Lol
Please stop putting youngboy and new orleans in the same sentence. He is a baton rouge artist and his sound is quintessentially baton rouge. Put some respect on where he’s from and acknowledge HIS city.
DAMMIT! I keep messing this up. I know this, but it’s just like a bad habit of mines. Thanks for the catch!
