Blueface Officially Released from Prison After Nearly Two Years

2025 Blueface Release

After spending almost two years behind bars, Blueface is officially a free man.

The rapper, 28, shared a video on Instagram Monday (Nov. 3) confirming his release from California State Prison in Los Angeles. “Still that ni**a, two years later,” he said in the clip. “On the dead homies.”

Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, had been hinting at her son’s release for weeks. Last month, she told TMZ that he was nearing the end of his sentence and could be home before his original December parole date. “Make sure you guys get your tickets for the celebrity Blueface coming home party,” she said. “I’m excited for new beginnings.”

On Sunday (Nov. 2), Karlissa shared a video that suggested the rapper was already home, though she told fans to follow her Patreon for confirmation. Blueface’s father also posted a heartfelt message, writing, “Today is the end of a chapter in my family’s life. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new one.”

Blueface originally turned himself in last January for violating probation connected to a 2021 assault case. He was sentenced to four years in prison but served just 21 months before his release.
