HUNTR/X’s “Golden” Becomes the #1 Most Streamed Song of 2025 Worldwide

HUNTR/X makes history as “Golden” officially becomes the most-streamed song released in 2025, overtaking Alex Warren’s viral hit “Ordinary.”

HUNTR/X just hit a significant milestone — their breakout hit “Golden” is now the #1 most-streamed song released in 2025 worldwide, surpassing Alex Warren’s fan-favorite “Ordinary.”

The track has enchanted listeners with its lush, cinematic production — blending nostalgic synths, heartfelt lyricism, and a hook that feels both timeless and futuristic. Fans have celebrated its euphoric energy and uplifting message, with many dubbing it the “soundtrack of 2025.”

Beyond “Golden,” the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack as a whole has been a streaming powerhouse. Alongside the record-breaking single, songs like “Soda Pop” and “Idol” have each surpassed 500 million streams, while ten out of the twelve tracks on the project have crossed the 100 million mark — a staggering achievement for any soundtrack.

Even if “Golden” isn’t exactly in my usual rotation, it’s impossible not to respect a run this impressive.
