Top 5 Highest-Selling Rap Albums This Week (11/8/2025): Tyler, The Creator, Cardi B & NBA YoungBoy

Tyler, The Creator makes a surprise return to #1.

TOP 5

5. Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR – $ome $exy $ongs 4 U (18k)

Guess what just got nominated for a Grammy? “SOMEBODY LOVES ME” from this album. To me, this is the standout track (I know “NOKIA: is blowing up, but this is the one). The melodies that Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR use are so unique and memorable. Please don’t sleep on the playa lines they drop throughout the track, either. All in all, this album is packed with unforgettable moments.

4. Drake – Take Care (20k)

When I first noticed Take Care on this list, I was surprised and figured it wouldn’t stay in the top 5 for long. Clearly, I was wrong. Take Care has held a spot in the top 5 for weeks now, and I still don’t fully get why. There’s no TikTok trend driving it—it’s just being streamed and purchased in massive numbers. Honestly, half the people featured on this album aren’t even friends with Drake anymore. S**t like this is why Drake will always be a big dog in the game.

3. NBA YoungBoy – MASA (20k)

NBA YoungBoy has had one of his strongest streaming years yet, primarily fueled by his MASA album and its standout track, “Shot Callin.” The world may have underestimated just how much fans missed him. On tour, he exudes a Michael Jackson–like aura, with fans idolizing him and peers offering high praise. This could easily go down as his best year to date—even though, release-wise, he hasn’t done much, dropping two albums in a year is standard for him (He is prepping to drop another one soon here).

2. Cardi B – AM I THE DRAMA? (29k)

With all due respect, how is this album still performing so strongly? It rode the initial hype, stayed relevant for weeks, and even now remains solidly in the top 2 on this list. Cardi B—whom I’ve started calling Big Cardi—isn’t just about the drama; she’s also a masterful, effortless marketer.

1. Tyler, The Creator – CHROMAKOPIA (49k)

Tyler, The Creator is running the game—two of his recent albums have snagged Grammy nominations: his latest, DON’T TAP THE GLASS, and CHROMAKOPIA. He’s the first artist to achieve this since Kanye West, who saw both Watch The Throne and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy nominated at the same time. Following the release of an updated version of CHROMAKOPIA, which added just one track, “Mother,” the album roared back to the top of this list.
