Have you noticed how everything’s felt slightly off since Baby Keem last released music?
After a long hiatus, Baby Keem has officially stepped back into the spotlight. His new album, Ca$ino, drops on February 20, and the announcement alone felt like a flare shot into the night sky. Alongside the reveal, Keem shared the album artwork and a documentary snippet featuring Kendrick Lamar speaking, which made things feel that much more real.
Keem’s rise has never been traditional. Since The Melodic Blue, he has mastered the art of controlled chaos, bouncing between wild confidence, left-field humor, and emotional honesty without ever sounding boxed in. That album cemented him as more than a Kendrick affiliate. It showed an artist willing to take risks, confuse expectations, and still land the punch.
Since then, Keem has quietly become a cult figure. Fans dissect features, replay old records, and wait. A lot of waiting. Ca$ino feels like a response to that patience. The feature list includes Kendrick Lamar, Too $hort, Momo Boyd, and Che Ecru.
Black History Month is coming through this year.
