Jack Harlow Announces New Album “MONICA”

Which version of Jack Harlow do you want to hear on MONICA: the introspective Jackman. side or a full return to his braggadocious hits?

I say this very respectfully: Where the hell has Jack Harlow been? Remember when he first came out? You spotted him in commercials, at NBA games, and on everyone’s albums, but over the past couple of years, he’s been pretty quiet. He looks to make his triumphant return on March 13 with a new project called Monica.

One thing he did do was drop a few singles in 2025, including “Just Us” with Doja Cat, “Set You Free,” and “Tranquility.” While all of those singles performed well, I don’t think they moved the needle the way his main hits did. It also feels like his megasmash hit “Lovin’ On Me” never really got the chance to land on an album.

We last heard Jack on the very introspective and subdued Jackman., which didn’t feature any major commercial hits but did include “They Don’t Love It,” a track that’s surpassed 100 million views. Whether we get a more focused, subdued version of the Louisville rapper or one who returns to his braggadocious ways, I’ll be a fan of either direction. Based on the artwork, it feels like we might be getting the latter… Honestly, I just don’t want him doing country. Please.
