I feel like we haven’t gotten enough Sexyy Red in our lives this year. The good news is she’s back and doing exactly what you’d expect from her — making club bangers.
With tracks like “Get It Sexxy” and “SkeeYee” already under her belt, Sexyy Red decided to add to her resume by dropping yet another unadulterated club anthem: “For No Reason.” Her first single since “Is You Coo” from September.
“For No Reason” is powered by one of those action-packed beats with a wild tempo and serious club energy. I can already see it going crazy in strip clubs with traces of COVID-20 in the bathrooms.
Over the production, you get signature Sexyy Red bars — lyrics about shaking ass and coochie in any given circumstance (including when they stink — her words, not mine). She yells her heart out in the verses, while on the chorus, she gives us something robotic yet undeniably catchy. Overall, I can see this one going absolutely crazy in the clubs.
