Drake Surpasses 16 Billion Streams in 2025

I keep telling people Drake is unkillable.

Drake has officially crossed 16 billion Spotify streams in 2025 across all credits — and somehow, he’s still accelerating toward what looks like the biggest year of his career on the platform.

What makes this run so wild is the context: 2025 was supposed to be the year Drake “fell off” after his headline-dominating feud with Kendrick Lamar, a moment many claimed would mark the end of his dominance. Instead, the complete opposite happened. Take Care from 2011 is experiencing its most-streamed year ever, his joint project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR has been a standout success (driven by records like “NOKIA” and “SOMEBODY LOVES ME”), and singles such as “WHAT DID I MISS?” and “WHICH ONE” with Central Cee have gone off on the charts.

At the moment, Drake is the most-streamed rapper in the world daily, pulling 51.7 million streams per day, with Kanye West following at 24.1 million and Future at 22.5 million.

And if Drake decides to drop his highly anticipated ICEMAN project before the year wraps, he could end up setting a streaming milestone that might not be touched for a long, long time. The Boy is looking downright unstoppable.
