A 12-track animated soundtrack with features from HUNTR/X, Saja Boys, MeloMance, and Jokers becomes an unexpected American chart powerhouse.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack has pulled off one of the most shocking chart wins of the year: all 12 of its original songs have officially sold over one million units each in the United States. What started as the soundtrack to a stylish animated action film has exploded far beyond expectations, turning into a full-fledged commercial phenomenon since its June release. Few soundtracks—animated or otherwise—have dominated streaming and sales platforms with this level of consistency.
Leading the charge is “Golden,” the shimmering anthem performed by the fictional group HUNTR/X, voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The track skyrocketed into one of the most-streamed songs of the year, helping transform the project from a movie tie-in into a legitimate pop juggernaut. Its runaway success signaled that the soundtrack had tapped into a global audience hungry for cinematic K-pop.
The album’s depth is bolstered by the fictional boy group Saja Boys, voiced by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee. Their contributions provide vocal diversity and musical range, helping multiple songs achieve million-selling status. Additional appearances by MeloMance and Jokers expand the soundtrack’s emotional and stylistic spectrum.
With every track now a certified U.S. million-seller, KPop Demon Hunters has rewritten expectations for multimedia K-pop releases. The project proves that fictional groups—with real vocal talent and strong storytelling—can compete head-to-head with mainstream pop heavyweights.

I was looking at the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack online tonight. I just might buy it out of curiosity and because I love soundtracks. Thank goodness it’s available on cd.
