The Chicago star surpasses 80 million certified units as “RAPSTAR,” “Flex,” and more earn major upgrades.

Polo G just hit another massive milestone, securing eight new RIAA platinum certifications and officially cementing himself as the sixteenth highest-certified rapper of all time. With over 80 million certified units to his name, the Chicago standout continues to prove he’s really like that—both commercially and creatively.

At the top of his newly upgraded plaques sits the cultural anthem “RAPSTAR,” now 8× Platinum, reinforcing its status as one of the most defining rap songs of the 2020s. Core fan favorites “Flex” and “Go Stupid” level up to 4× Platinum, while emotional classics “Through Da Storm,” “The GOAT,” and “Heartless” each rise to 3× Platinum.

The list rounds out with “Deep Wounds” and “No Return,” both officially earning Platinum status—impressive considering neither was heavily pushed as a major single.

And he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Polo G is gearing up to strengthen his catalog even further with the deluxe edition of HOOD POET. With early drops like “Quality Over Quantity” and “High Tolerance,” fans are watching closely to see whether he can amplify his momentum and add even more plaques to his growing legacy.
