These two new tracks arrive at a time when Tory Lanez’s releases have noticeably slowed down.
I think Tory Lanez is entering a dangerous moment in his career right now. Before going to jail, he kept fans locked into his every move, dropping music consistently and staying present in the conversation. Even while behind bars, he released new tracks nearly every week. But recently, that output has slowed down — and the conversation around Tory has slowed with it.
That’s why these two new drops feel crucial.
The first track, “Variables,” is a slow-paced, steady record where Tory reflects on setbacks and talks about bouncing back from losses better than NFL teams. The second track, “Value,” carries a similar elegance but leans more into a cinematic, mafia-styled vibe. On this one, Tory sounds heavier, breathing harder between lines and opening up emotionally in a way that feels raw and vulnerable.
Both songs are introspective and serve as a reminder: despite everything, Tory Lanez is still incredibly sharp on the mic.
