Max B & French Montana Reunite in Style With “Make America Wavy Again (MAWA)”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

A long-awaited reunion that delivers the classic wavy energy fans remember.

Max B and French Montana are tighter than the NFC West division race. Sadly, after Max B went to jail on murder charges, that’s when French Montana’s career really took off, so we never got to see them side by side when they were both in their primes. While I wouldn’t say either of them is at peak form today, this release arrives at a moment when they’ve both become beloved figures in their own right.

Today, the duo dropped a new single called “Make America Wavy Again (MAWA).” The track features production that blends melancholic energy with dramatic, hard-hitting hip-hop flair, giving it that signature Coke Wave mood. French Montana and Max B go back and forth with explosive performances, delivering lyrics about their impact on the culture, living life on the edge, and their long-running ties to the streets. If I’m keeping it real, the AI woman’s verse in the beginning ended up being my favorite part.

All in all, it feels like an outstanding comeback record, one that carries the spirit fans have been craving. If this is the tone-setter, their forthcoming project Coke Wave Narcos 3.5 (which is a sick-ass title) is about to get people very, very hyped
