Pooh Shiesty Makes a Triumphant Return With “FDO”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Pooh Shiesty sounds the EXACT SAME. Thank GOD!

Pooh Shiesty was on top of his game right before going to jail. Riding the success of “Back In Blood” and his album Shiesty Season, he was poised for a major run. Unfortunately, his incarceration in 2021 temporarily derailed his momentum.

The good news? Shiesty is back, and he sounds exactly like we remember. On “FDO,” his lengthy verse showcases his signature style, rapping about wealth, foreign cars, gang ties, revenge, and relationships. He also blends aggressive braggadocio with vivid storytelling, making the track both a triumphant comeback and a gritty reflection of his Memphis roots.

The production backs him perfectly, with dark, menacing beats that hit hard while giving the track a palpable street energy. Pooh dives in with the same carefree, gutter tone fans have come to expect, demonstrating the charm and swagger that made him stand out before.

In short, “FDO” is exactly what the game needed—a return to form from a rapper who had been missed. I’m officially excited to see what he drops next.
