$uicideboy$ Turn Darkness Into Devotion on “THY WILL BE DONE”

$uicideboy$ ain’t s**t for dropping this demonic project right after Christmas.

I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t listened to much $uicideboy$ over the years. I mean, they’re literally called $uicideboy$, so I never exactly assumed they’d be my lane. What I can say with confidence, though, is that they’re among the most-streamed rappers on the planet, and that kind of consistency doesn’t happen by accident. After the success of THY KINGDOM COME, they’re back with a new ten-track project titled THY WILL BE DONE.

As expected, the album leans heavily into religious and biblical imagery, paired with bars about violence, addiction, survival, and deeply personal reflection. On paper, it sounds grim as hell, but in practice, it almost plays like a warped form of gospel music. Ruby da Cherry and Scrim have both spoken openly about leaning on faith while battling their demons, and that context gives the project extra weight.

What really sold me, though, was the sound. The dark, abrasive production hits hard, pairing perfectly with relentless, rapid-fire flows that feel reminiscent of some Bone Thugs s**t. There’s a raw momentum running through the tracklist that keeps everything moving.

The high-energy moments especially shine, balancing menace with purpose. By the time it wrapped, I realized something surprising: I’m a new fan.
