Kendrick Lamar’s “squabble up,” “luther,” and “tv off” Shine at the CLIO Awards

Are they just making up awards to give Kendrick now?

The 2026 CLIO Music Awards turned into a victory lap for Kendrick Lamar, as his music dominated multiple categories across advertising, music direction, and video excellence.

Leading the charge was The Kraft Heinz Mustard × Mustard campaign, which took home three major CLIO Music Awards. The campaign won Best Use of Music in an Ad, Best Integrated Campaign, and Best Partnerships, Sponsorships & Collaborations, a rare sweep that highlights just how seamlessly music, branding, and cultural relevance were fused together. Central to the campaign’s success was Kendrick Lamar’s “tv off,” which featured Kendrick’s viral “MUSTARRRRRRD” moment from the track.

Beyond the brand world, Kendrick’s individual releases also received major recognition. His high-energy anthem “squabble up” earned Gold for Best Music Direction. What’s notable is that the track felt like a throwaway and still achieved massive success.

Meanwhile, “luther,” featuring SZA, continued its award-season dominance by taking home Gold for Best Music Video and Silver for Best Music Direction. The accolades reflect the creative chemistry between Kendrick and SZA, which has consistently produced standout moments throughout their careers.

When Kendrick decides to hang up his mic, he will be sitting with all kinds of awards on his resume.
