5. BLESSED
Sidenote: The way the tracks are layered on this album is perfect.
“BLESSED” is the perfect closer to this introspective album. Over dark, laidback production that evokes visions of nighttime city lights, Dat Boy Dope delivers loose, confident, and assertive bars about feeling truly blessed. He reflects on finding himself while tuning out others’ opinions, giving the track a sense of freedom and authenticity. The chorus is simple, catchy, and endlessly replayable, making it the highlight of the song. Overall, the track feels unfiltered, celebratory, and a fitting end to an album full of honesty.
4. NYA’S PRAYER
The honesty is on 1000 in this track. I rock with it.
Among the introspective tracks on this project, this one stands out as the most revealing. Backed by a soulful, rainy-Sunday–esque instrumental, Dat Boy Dope opens up about past legal troubles, cutting out negativity, and leaning on his faith. He delivers it without showy flair—just pure, honest bars that hit because they’re real. Given how universal these struggles are, this track lands hard for anyone who’s been through something similar.
3. ALL BLACK. ALL WHITE. GODLY
Is this the hardest title of 2026?
If you’re going to name a track “ALL BLACK. ALL WHITE. GODLY,” it better deliver—and this one absolutely does. The production is stunning, with a perfect tempo, a dusty, almost ancient vibe, standout beat stops, and a xylophone-like effect that steals the show. Dat Boy Dope matches it every step of the way, switching between relentless flows and laidback, unchained bars while reflecting on his growth, ambitions to run the game, and handling haters with finesse. Honestly, if I were Top Dawg, I’d sign him to TDE based solely on this TDE-sounding banger.
2. MAKE IT REAL
Good rapping over production like this >.
“MAKE IT REAL” is the Swiss Army knife of the album—perfect for turning up in clubs, setting a chill vibe, or dominating radio waves. The track features Jersey Club production that hits just right without overdoing it, paired with one of DBD’s slickest rap performances. He slides over the beat effortlessly, dropping bars about getting his groove on, flaunting his certified status, and pulling chicks who are badder than a two-year-old missing their nap. Out of the entire album, this is the track I keep coming back to. Oh, and that Suns line with the D Book mention? Straight fire.
1. NOW (Ft. John Wells)
Motivational bars will never get old.
What I love about “Now” is how it introduces you to Dat Boy Dope in full force. On this track, he shifts seamlessly between moments of competitiveness, carefree defiance, and unapologetic bragging. Over the knocking, hypnotic production, he delivers bars with as much fire as flair, commanding attention from start to finish.
Featured guest John Wells meets him at the rim, bringing a hungry verse that highlights the caution in his moves and the blessings he values. His contribution closes the track perfectly. Overall, “Now” is bold, inspiring, and full of raw energy.
