Lady Gaga & Doechii Turn Confidence Into Couture on “RUNWAY”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

If confidence walked, it would sound exactly like this track.

Lady Gaga and Doechii team up on “RUNWAY,” a high-energy pop record that leans fully into fashion, confidence, and spectacle. Tied to the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, the track feels like it was built for both cinematic moments and elite s**t-talking.

“RUNWAY” is driven by a high-energy beat with a flashy, strutting rhythm that makes everything feel larger than life, like every step is a statement. There’s also a subtle old-school sample woven in, adding extra character to the mix.

Lyrically, both artists lean into themes of confidence and self-expression. They talk about dressing loud, showing up boldly, and staying ahead of the competition without apology. As a matter of fact, both feel like they are ready to go the “yo momma” route if you talk out the side of your neck to them.

Vocally, the chemistry works. Lady Gaga brings an unapologetic, super-sassy flair I’ve never heard her rely on, while Doechii counters with playful aggression and sharp charisma. Both performances feel animated and unbothered, almost like they’re feeding off each other’s energy in real time.

All in all, “RUNWAY” feels like it was put on this earth to boost confidence and embrace SGA-like outfits.
