Quinn Mills continues refining his genre-blending sound.
Quinn Mills isn’t your average indie artist. The Ajax, Ontario native is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who’s been shaping his sound since childhood, pulling inspiration from legends like Stevie Wonder, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, Kanye West, Childish Gambino, and Rick Springfield. The result? A genre-blending style that fuses rock, R&B, and hip-hop into something uniquely his.
After dropping “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” earlier this year, Quinn is back with “Good Enough,” and it’s easily one of his most dynamic records yet. The track starts off bare and intimate, led by lonely guitar licks that feel almost confessional. But as it unfolds, it transforms into something atmospheric and expansive before eventually hitting a more dramatic, hard-knocking stride. The transitions are seamless, like watching emotions evolve in real time.
Lyrically, “Good Enough” dives into a relationship weighed down by timing issues, insecurity, and the quiet realization that love alone might not fix everything. Still, there’s devotion woven throughout, even when things feel unchangeable.
Vocally, Quinn delivers a performance that feels raw and soul-clenching. He shifts from fragile to confident effortlessly, letting emotion spill over into euphoric moments. This isn’t just a song you hear, it’s one you feel.

Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
