DJ Khaled is aiming to dominate the charts again.
DJ Khaled isn’t subtle when it comes to his goals. With Aalam of God set for a July 17th release, he’s clearly aiming to own the summer once again. After stepping away for four years, the Miami producer is back doing what he does best: building albums around star power and big moments.
God Did proved he still had pull, bringing in names like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, and John Legend. Records like “GOD DID” helped keep him in the conversation, even as the industry kept shifting.
Now, he’s running a similar play. “Brothers” with Post Malone and YoungBoy Never Broke Again got things started, followed by a reggae track packed with legends. His latest drop, “One Of Them” with Future and Lil Baby, keeps the momentum alive.
The biggest talking point might actually be who’s missing. Drake confirmed he won’t be on Aalam of God, which removes one of Khaled’s usual go-to weapons. Still, there’s probably enough other big names he could pry to join him here.
At the end of the day, Khaled is betting on volume and visibility. If enough of these records connect, he wins. If not, this could feel like another playlist album that comes and goes.
