A warm and easygoing collaboration built for sunset playlists.
The Elovaters have steadily built a loyal following by blending reggae-rock, pop, and coastal energy into music that feels tailor-made for sunshine. The Massachusetts band continues to expand its reach as it prepares to release its fifth studio album, Shark Belly Motel, on May 15. Known for embracing a wide range of influences, they now connect with multi-platinum artist Bryce Vine for their latest single, “Pockets Full Of Sand.”
“Pockets Full Of Sand” boasts laidback production with an organic feel that sounds perfect for quiet summer nights. The instrumentation is smooth, warm, and easygoing, creating a soundtrack fit for beach drives, sunsets, and late conversations near the water. Bryce Vine absolutely shines on the track. He moves between a heavenly, soothing tone during the chorus and a more raw, unapologetic delivery in his verses and bridge. The chorus, in particular, is incredibly sticky and hard to shake once it lands.
Lyrically, the song centers around finding pure enjoyment with that one special person, where perfect weather, nearby water, and escaping everyday stress become all that matters. It captures the kind of carefree peace people chase all season long.
All in all, if you’re in the mood for something replenishing, I recommend you press play on this track.
