Ray Vaughn & Isaiah Rashad Deliver Late-Night Vibes on “Vibe Responsibly”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Lakers fans need to listen to something chill like this. They’ve been crashing out on my timeline all day today.

Even without Kendrick Lamar leading the charge anymore, TDE still has plenty of talent capable of carrying the label forward. Two names that continue to stand out are Ray Vaughn and Isaiah Rashad. While Ray tends to rap like someone trying to kick your door in and take names afterward, Isaiah has spent the last few years leaning deeper into introspection, especially on his recent album IT’S BEEN AWFUL.

On “Vibe Responsibly,” the two artists meet in the middle. The track is powered by that familiar laid-back TDE sound, the kind of production that instantly paints images of cruising through neighborhoods after sunset while everybody hangs outside trying to stretch the night a little longer. Ray Vaughn attacks the beat with aggressive, sharp-edged bars and a steady flow, delivering lines about protecting his peace and focusing on good energy. Isaiah Rashad slides onto the track with a calmer, smoother approach, reflecting on growth, gratitude, and on how far he has come.

The chemistry between the two is what really makes the track work. Neither artist overshadows the other, and together they create one of the smoother collaborations TDE has dropped in a minute.
