BNYX, Yeat & Peso Pluma Bring Wild Energy To “Fuego”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Did BNYX just create the weirdest posse cut of the entire year with “Fuego”?

BNYX made a pretty fearless move by dropping his new project the same day Drake released ICEMAN. That takes balls. That said, if the music hits, listeners will eventually circle back. To build hype for GENESIS FM, BNYX pulled together one of the wildest combinations of artists imaginable in Bizarrap, Yeat, and Peso Pluma for “Fuego.”

Yeat is the one who immediately sets the tone, sliding onto the futuristic, Sonic The Hedgehog-ass production with his usual animated, oft-kilter, slurry delivery and chaotic energy. From there, Bizarrap and Peso Pluma help inject the track with a heavy Latin flavor, adding slick melodies, varied cadences, and enough personality to keep the song moving throughout.

The production is probably the biggest star here, though. The synth-heavy backdrop feels massive, futuristic, and energetic, almost like the soundtrack to a nightclub floating somewhere in outer space. Overall, “Fuego” is some s**t I would play at the telly with a robot that has a nice booty.
