Drake really turned Spotify into his personal playground again.
Drake continues to separate himself from the rest of hip-hop in terms of streaming dominance. His latest album, ICEMAN, officially earned the biggest first-week streaming debut of any project released in 2026, generating 462.2 million on-demand streams in the United States, according to Billboard.
The total is especially notable because ICEMAN more than doubled the first-week streaming performance of its closest competitor this year. The project also secured the biggest streaming week for any hip-hop or R&B album since Drake’s own For All The Dogs, once again showing how much space he occupies within the streaming era.
With this latest milestone, Drake now officially holds the five biggest streaming debuts for hip-hop albums in US history. The list includes Scorpion with 746 million streams, Certified Lover Boy with 744 million, For All The Dogs with 514 million, HER LOSS with 513 million, and now ICEMAN with 462 million.
One of the more interesting aspects of the rollout is how evenly the streams are spread across the album. Outside of “Janice STFU,” which has clearly become the standout hit, most tracks are pulling similar numbers. That balance suggests listeners are consuming ICEMAN as a full project rather than only revisiting one viral record.
