YG Drops “GANG BIZNESS” Featuring PayGotti

Rating: 3 out of 5.

YG went super West Coast for this one.

YG continues building momentum toward his upcoming album THE GENTLEMEN’S CLUB, which is expected to arrive in the next few weeks. After months of previews and the release of “2004,” one of my favorite tracks from last year, he has now dropped a new single titled “GANG BIZNESS,” featuring PayGotti.

The record is built around a menacing West Coast instrumental; the kind that would have the “2 HARD FOR THE RADIO” version of Drake putting up a 50-point triple-double. PayGotti delivers the opening verse with a smooth, laid-back cadence that reflects a classic California sound. His performance establishes the tone before YG enters with a more forceful approach.

YG’s verse leans into a gritty vocal delivery, emphasizing revenge, slaying women, and loving his blicky more than I love the Spurs’ chances of winning game 7 on Saturday. His cadence feels more vigilant and unfiltered, contrasting with PayGotti’s more controlled flow. I still believe their chemistry is very solid.

Based on all the singles YG has released for his upcoming album thus far, I have no clue how the hell it will sound.
