Drake keeps stacking up wins.
Drake’s latest album, ICEMAN, is showing little sign of slowing down. According to current projections, the project is expected to spend a third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving an estimated 173,000-plus units during the tracking period.
With those numbers, ICEMAN is rapidly approaching the one-million-unit mark in total consumption. While online discussion surrounding the album has naturally cooled compared to release week, listeners continue to stream the project at a significant rate. That’s typically how major releases operate. The initial debates fade, but the music remains in rotation.
One of the album’s biggest drivers remains “Janice STFU.” The track has already surpassed 100 million streams and is expected to remain at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its sustained popularity has helped keep attention on the project as a whole.
The performance of ICEMAN also reinforces a trend that has followed Drake throughout his career. Regardless of how much conversation surrounds a release initially, his albums often maintain strong streaming numbers well after launch. Another week near the top of the charts suggests listeners are still returning to the project regularly.
If the projections hold, ICEMAN will add another milestone to Drake’s already extensive chart résumé while continuing its march toward the million-unit threshold.
