Malcolm Todd continues turning momentum into major chart success.
Malcolm Todd may still look like the youngest person in every room he walks into, but his career trajectory is becoming impossible to ignore.
According to early industry projections, Do That Again is expected to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with roughly 70,000 first-week units. If that estimate holds, Todd will officially earn his first top 10 album.
It’s a significant milestone for an artist who has steadily built momentum over the last couple of years. While Sweet Boy helped introduce many listeners to his style, Do That Again feels like the project that’s turning casual listeners into dedicated fans.
The album’s success has been fueled by standout records like “Breathe,” “I Saw Your Face,” and “Difficult Love,” all of which have helped expand his audience. Combined with his distinct blend of alternative R&B and honest songwriting, the formula appears to be working.
The timing couldn’t be better either. Todd is set to embark on a North American tour later this year, giving him another opportunity to capitalize on his growing popularity.
For an artist whose last album debuted at No. 30, a projected No. 4 debut represents tremendous growth. If the numbers hold, Do That Again could become the defining release of Malcolm Todd’s young career.
