GinaDeBoss catches feelings so hard on “AMNESIA” she might need to check if love comes with a warranty.
If nobody told me GinaDeBoss was only 16 years old, I would’ve assumed she was already an established pop star. The Korean American singer from Los Angeles, who previously trained under JYP Entertainment and competed on A2K, sounds remarkably polished on her debut single, “AMNESIA.”
In “AMNESIA,” GinaDeBoss explores what it’s like to become completely swept away by someone who makes you see the world differently. She embraces emotions she never expected to feel, stepping outside her comfort zone as love starts to feel almost spellbinding. If that feeling doesn’t sound familiar, you’re missing out on one of life’s wildest experiences.
Backing those lyrics is a futuristic dance-pop instrumental that absolutely sparkles. The production combines glossy synth work, punchy drums, and a danceable 130 BPM groove that feels equally at home in a nightclub or blasting through your car speakers on a Friday night. With Grammy-nominated engineer Koen Heldens behind the mix, the track gives off a professional finish from top to bottom.
What impressed me most, though, is GinaDeBoss herself. Her vocals remain composed throughout the song while still carrying enough attitude and personality to keep listeners invested. I just feel like she never forces the performance, allowing her natural charisma to shine.
All in all, it’s an outstanding debut that suggests GinaDeBoss has a very bright future ahead.
