Charli XCX’s “Music, Fashion, Film” Projected for Top 5 Billboard 200 Debut

Charli XCX continues proving she’s one of pop’s most consistent hitmakers.

Charli XCX is looking at another strong chart debut. According to early projections from HITSDD, her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, is expected to debut inside the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 with 65,000 to 70,000 first-week units.

The project marks Charli XCX’s first album since BRAT in 2024, which turned into a massive commercial and cultural success. The album went viral, earned widespread critical acclaim, and solidified itself as one of the defining pop releases of the decade.

Music, Fashion, Film features 11 tracks and includes one guest appearance from legendary filmmaker David Cronenberg. Standout songs like “SS26” and “Wink Wink” have already generated plenty of buzz among fans.

For comparison, BRAT debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 77,000 album-equivalent units, including 40,000 pure album sales. While Music, Fashion, Film is projected to open with slightly fewer units, another Top 5 debut would still be a significant accomplishment and another reminder that Charli XCX remains one of pop’s most influential artists.
