Mac Miller’s beloved album returns with previously unreleased music from its original recording sessions.
If there’s one artist whose unreleased music I’ll always want to hear more of, it’s Mac Miller. He was already an incredibly talented artist, but I feel like he reached another level creatively in the final years of his life. That makes the return of The Divine Feminine especially meaningful.
The album is getting a 10th anniversary edition in September 2026, with the vinyl release featuring three bonus tracks taken from the original recording sessions. Preorders for the vinyl will begin tonight, giving fans another opportunity to celebrate one of Mac’s most beloved projects.
There’s an even bigger treat for fans who prefer streaming. One of the bonus tracks, “Butterflies,” will also be released on streaming services.
Originally released in 2016, The Divine Feminine was a major moment in Mac Miller’s evolution. The album leaned heavily into love, intimacy, vulnerability, and soulful production, showcasing a more mature, confident side of Mac.
The project also featured an impressive collection of guests, including Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, CeeLo Green, Ariana Grande, and Kendrick Lamar. Songs like “My Favorite Part” and “Congratulations” remain key parts of his catalog and helped the album keep penetrating the culture.
I love seeing Mac Miller’s name continue to live on through his music. Ten years later, The Divine Feminine still feels like an important part of his story, and this anniversary edition gives fans another way to connect with it.
