The Game Announces “The Documentary 3” With Drake, Ye, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne & More

The Game is reviving his signature series with a loaded 24-track album.

The Game is reportedly bringing back his iconic The Documentary series with The Documentary 3, arriving tonight. The 24-track album features an enormous guest list, including Drake, Ye, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Tyga, PARTYNEXTDOOR, YG, Leon Thomas, Black Thought, Larry June, Drakeo The Ruler, Lefty Gunplay, AZ Chike, RJmrLA, and Mike & Keys. Needless to say, The Game is not playing around with this one.

The Game has had a pretty eventful year without releasing a traditional album. He went up against YG during one of the wildest Verzuz battles we’ve seen, even collaborating with him on “Red People.” He also teamed up with DJ Drama and Mike & Keys for Gangsta Grillz: Every Movie Needs A Trailer, keeping his name in the conversation without flooding fans with music.

Still, his relationship with Drake has arguably been the biggest reason The Game has remained in the headlines. His continued support of Drake has created tension in Los Angeles, especially given Drake’s ongoing history with Kendrick Lamar. With The Game and Kendrick both having deep ties to Compton, his Drake affiliation has naturally added another layer to an already complicated situation.

Whatever you think about the drama, longtime The Game fans have plenty to be excited about. The Documentary 3 would be his first proper album since DRILLMATIC – Heart vs. Mind and the first entry in the Documentary series since The Documentary 2 in 2015. Ten years later, The Game is bringing the series back with 24 tracks and a stacked lineup. This should be fun.
