Angelyse Mariah has it, and “ORO” makes that pretty damn clear. I already love her voice, but there’s so much more to her than that. Her flair, bravado, and versatility all come through on this latest single, which has the makings of a surefire hit.
The production on “ORO” is made for frenetic dancing, blending a unique tempo with a genre-bending sound that refuses to stay in one lane. Even more impressive is the way Angelyse blends multiple languages into the track with incredible fluency.
Then there are the vocals, which might be the song’s biggest weapon. She’s spicy, bold, and hypnotizing, delivering every line with the kind of confidence that makes you feel like she has you exactly where she wants you. And frfr, that’s the point. “ORO” finds Angelyse playing with the idea of having somebody on a string and pulling them in whatever direction she wants. She’s completely in control here.
