Reporters asked Coi Leray what comes next, and she saved everyone time by giving a two-word answer.
Coi Leray appears ready to begin a new album era.
The rapper and singer teased her next full-length project through a cinematic video shared on social media. The clip shows Leray behind a table at a staged press conference, with reporters surrounding her and rapidly snapping photographs. A smooth, unreleased song plays in the background before someone asks a straightforward question: “Coi, what’s next for you?”
“My album,” Leray responds.
The brief answer did not include a title, release date, tracklist, or list of featured artists. However, the elaborate presentation suggests that Leray is preparing to launch a proper campaign rather than casually previewing disconnected music.
If everything proceeds as expected, the project will become her first full-length album since Coi, which arrived in June 2023. Leray has not been inactive since then, releasing the EPs Lemon Cars in 2024 and What Happened to Forever? in 2025. Still, plenty has changed in her life since her previous studio album.
Leray rekindled her relationship with Trippie Redd before publicly suggesting that she had been cheated on shortly after announcing her pregnancy. She later welcomed their daughter, Miyoco, in June 2025, beginning a significant new chapter in her personal life.
Those experiences could give Leray plenty to discuss on the forthcoming album. For now, its details remain secret, but the press conference has officially begun.
